Prof. Dr. Caroline Dupont is a globally respected scholar, cultural theorist, and academic leader known for her extensive contributions to humanities, global affairs, and intercultural communication. With over 25 years of experience in academia and international diplomacy, she has played a pivotal role in promoting cross-cultural education and global citizenship through the humanities.
Before joining Woodcroft University, Dr. Dupont served as the Director of the International Institute for Cultural Dialogue (IICD) in Paris, where she led major initiatives connecting education, media, and policy across Europe, Africa, and North America. Her work has been instrumental in advancing global literacy, media ethics, and digital-era communication frameworks that bridge cultural divides.
At Woodcroft University, she leads the Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Global Studies, a multidisciplinary division focused on fostering dialogue between technology, culture, and society. Her mission is to ensure that students not only master academic excellence but also develop empathy, awareness, and critical thinking essential for leadership in a connected world.
Dr. Dupont’s research explores how communication, media, and culture intersect in shaping global identities. Her current projects focus on AI’s influence on global narratives, digital storytelling for peacebuilding, and cross-cultural media ethics in the era of misinformation.
She established the Woodcroft Global Dialogue Center (WGDC) — an interdisciplinary research initiative fostering academic and diplomatic collaboration between scholars, journalists, and policymakers to address the evolving challenges of globalization, migration, and media accountability.
Her work has been published in The Journal of Global Studies, Cultural Policy Review, and The International Journal of Communication & Society.
